I’m an age group triathlete and a clinical psychologist in the Navy.  My husband is an elite marathoner and in 2016 he will race his first triathlon!  We are a household that values fitness and faith in God.  We enjoy encouraging others to live a fit, healthy, and joyful lifestyle.

As a military family, we move quite a bit and one of the toughest parts of moving is finding a trustworthy bike shop/mechanic and finding the right training groups.  We feel lucky to have found such an amazing shop with supportive and friendly training partners included!  As a bonus, we get to support a small business!  Check out Gulf Coast Cycle and Tri! 🙂  I look forward to racing with this fantastic group in 2016.

SLEEP IS A PART OF YOUR TRAINING!  My husband and I are very proud ambassadors for bedgear.  Personally, I’m a HUGE fan of their Balance pillow, which as totally changed the way I sleep, for the better!  Enjoy discount code courtney20 for 20% off of your purchase!

Hi! I’m Sue, and I’m from SlimKicker, a diet/fitness app and site. I bumped into your blog a few days ago and it captured my interest!

I’m contacting you b/c we’re about to release a fitness tracker (similar to FitBit) early next year, and are looking for bloggers who would be interested in getting 1 for free to review when it is out (negative or positive).

Would you be interested in doing this? You can email me at: sue (at) slimkicker (com) with ‘Review’ in the email heading if you are.

Just to let you know, our site SlimKicker basically turns your diet/fitness goals into a level-up RPG game. The tracker will work in conjunction the website, and allow people to track calories burned and number of steps they walk automatically. The more they exercise, the more points they rack up! That’s basically how it will work.

Anyway, hope to hear back either way…

  3. I see you support BedGear – I’m a marathoner as well and have recently been having back pain, the doctor suggested that I look at new mattress/pillow options. Anything you suggest?

Hi there! So sorry I took so long to reply. I would visit http://www.bedgear.com and check out their pillow selection. You are prompted by the way the pillows are categorized to choose a pillow based on the way you sleep. So, I sleep all over the place (back, stomach, side) and need a multi-position sleeper pillow and I use the Balance pillow. My husband is a very predictable side-sleeper so he uses the Aspire side-sleeper pillow. Let me know what you think!
